Doubletree Guest Suites in the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel

When we first arrived we were told our room was gone that our ONLY option was a smoking room. What were we to do? Load our luggage and two toddlers back into a taxi and go from hotel to hotel looking for a room? We took it, but I can say that four of us have ended up with severe bronchial problems and put on antibiotics. I believe it was our allergies reacting to the cigarette smoke in our room. There were ants in our bathroom every day. Also the room was booked for 6, yet EVERY day we had to call and ask for two more of everything. (Minor hassle, but a hassle). The most upsetting problem I had was with the restaurant. One morning they charged me 3.99 for a waffle. The next morning I got the SAME exact thing and they charged me 14.95 (buffet price). Then argued with me until I paid the buffet price. That was an expensive waffle and it ruined my day. Front desk staff was always friendly and helpful. The rooms were quiet with comfortable beds. So my suggestion, make sure you get a NON-SMOKING room if that is what you booked!!! Take pop-tarts for breakfast!!!! And bug spray for the bathroom. We did enjoy the free cookies. If you'd call them Free.

My husband and I went away to wdw for our Honeymoon, we elected to stay at the double tree becuse it was right for our budget and getaway! Upon arrival we were greated with such friendliness as if they knew us for years! When asked what our stay was for they were excited to hear it was for Honeymoon. The young lady who was taking care of us automatically made us feel like preferred guest and upgraded our room for the stay. Even though it was not needed it was appericated. We received courtsey calls upon arrival to our room and then when we went to eat we were surpised to find balloons, cookies, and a letter of congradulations on our wedding! My husband and I feel that the staff at this hotel really went above and beyond what they need too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you very much to Housekeeping Crews. They done wonderful job. Over all every thing are enjoyable. We were staying at other hotel last year, but not to happy about it and this year We though we choose the right hotel. We are hoping to come back again. Thank you all again.
